Having been to numerous fish shops over the past, and read countless articles on the Internet, I came to two conclusions:
- There is a lot to learn about fish
- Its really hard to find this information.
The second point is key. There is a lot of rubbish on web sites, there is an even worse knowledge in the “aquatic stores”, where there is an expectation of knowledge. Everyone knows that anyone can write a website or blog, without any qualifications 
In fact I tested this lack of knowledge and asked the same question, in three different stores and got three different answers. I then asked the same question, in the same store, on different days, and got different answers.
With that said I decided to take plunge and buy a tank and learn about aquariums. This blog is about this.
